Disclaimer

For safer options than database-style searches, read the Pak SIM Data safe alternatives guide.
For general SIM guidance, start with our SIM information Pakistan guide.
The information provided by CheckSimsOwnership.com.pk (“we,” “us,” or “our”) on this website is for general informational and educational purposes only. Our guides explain how to check sim owner details, understand sim information, and manage sim ownership in Pakistan using official, legal channels. By accessing or using this website, you accept and agree to the terms of this Disclaimer in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
In one line: we are an independent educational website. We are not PTA, not NADRA, not the FIA, and not a mobile operator — and we do not run a SIM database or look up anyone’s number.
General Information Only
All content on this website is published in good faith and for general guidance. While we work hard to keep our information accurate and current, we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, or completeness of any information on the site. Telecom rules, fees, short codes, and procedures in Pakistan can change without notice, and the official sources are always the final authority. Any reliance you place on our content is therefore strictly at your own risk.
Not Professional or Legal Advice
The information here is not a substitute for professional or legal advice. SIM registration, identity, and cyber-crime matters can have serious legal consequences. If your situation involves potential fraud, impersonation, financial loss, or any legal dispute, you should consult a qualified lawyer or contact the relevant authority directly. Reading a guide on this website does not create any professional relationship between you and us.
To reduce CNIC and SIM misuse risk, follow our SIM fraud prevention guide.
No Affiliation with Official Bodies
CheckSimsOwnership.com.pk is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), or any mobile network operator, including Jazz, Zong, Telenor, Ufone, ONIC, and SCO. References to these organizations are made purely for informational and educational purposes.
Trademarks
All product names, logos, brands, trademarks, and registered trademarks mentioned on this website — including the names of PTA, NADRA, and the mobile operators — are the property of their respective owners. Their use here is for identification and descriptive purposes only and does not imply any endorsement or partnership.
Use Official Channels Only
We strongly and consistently advise readers to verify SIM information only through official, government-authorized channels. The legitimate methods in Pakistan are:
- cnic.sims.pk — PTA’s official web portal for checking SIMs registered against your own CNIC.
- 668 — the SMS service for an operator-wise SIM count on your CNIC.
- 667 (send MNP) — to confirm the registered owner of the SIM currently in your phone.
- 76367 — to identify which network a Pakistani number belongs to.
- Operator franchises and helplines — for biometric verification, disowning, transfers, and replacements.
These channels connect to Pakistan’s national Subscriber Verification Management System (SVMS), which is synchronized with NADRA. We do not control these services, are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or any charges they apply, and cannot guarantee their results.
We Do Not Provide Lookups or Tracking
This website does not offer, sell, or provide any service to look up the personal details of another person’s mobile number, nor any ability to track a phone’s location. We cannot reveal a stranger’s name, CNIC, or address from their phone number, and we want to be unambiguous: no website or app can legally do this in Pakistan. Any platform claiming such capability is operating illegally, presenting fabricated or stolen data, or attempting to harvest the information you enter. We are not one of them and do not endorse any of them.
Accuracy and Completeness
We make every reasonable effort to keep our guides up to date, but regulations evolve. As a recent example, PTA extended the SIM disowning window so that a newly activated SIM can only be disowned after one year from activation, replacing the earlier sixty-day period; and the legal limit remains a maximum of eight connections per CNIC. Figures, timelines, fees, and procedures like these may change after publication. Always confirm the current position with PTA or your operator before acting. If you notice an error in our content, please tell us through our Contact Us page so we can correct it.
External Links Disclaimer
This website may contain links to external websites that are not provided or maintained by us, including official resources such as cnic.sims.pk and pta.gov.pk. We do not guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness, or completeness of any information on these external sites. The inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement of the views or content expressed within them. Once you leave our website, the terms and policies of the destination site apply, and you should always verify you are on the genuine official domain before entering any personal information.
Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure
To keep our content free for everyone, this website may display third-party advertisements and may contain affiliate or sponsored links. We may earn a small commission if you click certain links or make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. This never influences our editorial position: we recommend the free, official PTA methods first and always, regardless of any commercial arrangement. Advertisements are served by third-party networks, and we are not responsible for the content of those ads or the practices of the advertisers. Please review our Privacy Policy for more on advertising cookies.
Educational and Fair-Use Purpose
All references to laws, official procedures, network services, and current events are made for educational and public-awareness purposes. Our goal is to help Pakistani citizens protect their identity and avoid SIM-related fraud. We believe this public-interest, educational use is fair and responsible, and we explicitly discourage any unlawful use of the information provided.
Legal Notice — PECA 2016
Under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016, the unauthorized access, collection, sharing, or misuse of another person’s personal data — including their SIM owner details — is a criminal offence in Pakistan, carrying potential penalties of imprisonment and substantial fines. Nothing on this website should be interpreted as encouraging or enabling any such activity. We provide information solely to help you check and protect your own SIM records and to recognize and avoid illegal services. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your own actions comply with the law.
Respect the Privacy of Others
The methods we describe are intended for checking your own identity and the SIM in your own possession. You should not attempt to obtain or use another person’s SIM owner details without their consent or a lawful basis. Curiosity about a stranger’s number is not a lawful purpose. If you are receiving harassing or fraudulent calls, the correct response is to report the number to your operator, to PTA, or to the FIA — not to seek out the owner’s private data yourself.
Errors and Omissions
While we strive for accuracy, the content may contain inadvertent typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to update or change information at any time without prior notice. We do not assume any liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of this website.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall CheckSimsOwnership.com.pk, its owners, writers, or contributors be liable for any loss or damage — including without limitation indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profit, or any other loss — arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website or reliance on any information provided on it. Your use of the website and your reliance on any information is solely at your own risk.
Indemnification
By using this website, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CheckSimsOwnership.com.pk and its team from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the site or your violation of this Disclaimer or any applicable law.
Testimonials and Results
Any examples, sample results, or scenarios shown on this website are for illustration only. Actual results from the official services may vary depending on your network, your records in the SVMS database, and the current procedures of PTA and the operators. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from following our guides.

We may update or revise this Disclaimer at any time to reflect changes in our content, the law, or our practices. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.
Governing Law
This Disclaimer and your use of the website are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising in connection with this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
